Ambrogio Calepino, 1435-1511, Italian lexicographer[,] published the first edition of his
Lexicon in 1502, and it was frequently reprinted and enlarged. The edition of Patavia, 1718, was the first edited by
Jacopo Facciolati, 1682-1769, Italian scholar.
