Cornelius Jansen, 1585-1638, the father of the religious revival known as Jansenism. [Cornelius Jansen, 1585-1638, never attained the rank
of cardinal. Furthermore, the compiler fails to explain how a volume published in 1658 is traced to the library of a man
who died in 1638. Most likely another Jansen is indicated.--
