This letter is dated from Chambéry, Dec. 27, 1792, and was immediately issued in French, but was not published in English
until this London edition of 1795, followed in the same year by a New York edition. It is written from the same point of view
as the author’s
Letter to the National Convention
. Dexter cites the New York edition before that of London.
